I survived change week! But before I go into detail I should talk about last weekend being General Conference and of course EASTER! It was a super conference. I really enjoyed it and I really sensed that the speakers were all inspired to say exactly what we all need to hear. Especially Elder Milton! I really enjoyed every session. But to choose just two that hit right at home was Elder Holland and Elder Uchtdorf with his grace talk. Actually I loved them so much that I am including their highlights in a a video I am making for the mission! I have showed the final product to some of the office staff and half of them say it is what we need to hear and its super motivating, the other half says that its just too harsh and that I should change it. When I say harsh I mean that some people won't take the criticism, but I am leaning towards showing it! Our mission has gone through a change in our focus and some people arent quite with the program. So we will see the first zones reaction.
Well then began the changes...So we would start it getting everything prepared on Monday and of course our transformer blew up! So we were without power! Poor President McM. was doing changes by candle light! All night and we wouldnt get the changes officially done until Tuesday afternoon. Which is the latest they have ever been done! And so changes hit me again! My new companion is Elder J. and I got transferred wards so my new ward is Mburucuja and I have hardly met anyone from it because this week has been dedicated to changes. Tuesday the new missionaries came in and we had to give them and intro to the mission and I had to teach them in a station what I do and also how to keep their house clean and maintained. So that was interesting! We had 11 sisters come in and 4 Elders. They are all super nice and got assigned some super awesome trainers!
Changes finally ended and then we had to figure out what to do with the missionaries that had to go home. So we went to go souvenir shopping and got their migrations done and then sent them out super early in the morning! So it was sad to see some people go but they all the missionaries were super good so I dont think any had any regrets they all served honorable missions!
Well this week is going to be a super busy one as well! There is an Indian tribe in the north part of Paraguay called the Nivacle, well 7 of them got their mission calls and we have to help them prepare this week! From clothes shopping, getting endowed, patriarchal blessings and then getting back home in 2 days! But We are super excited for them and they are so amazed by everything technology wise so I am excited to help them out! They speak more or less spanish!
Well I love you and I hope everything is going well for the family! I am praying for you always and I hope that work and school going super good! I will write more next week!
Love Always,
Elder Milton
